Best Gardening Gloves

This blog is a little bit tricky because there are quite a few different types of gardening gloves that are useful for specific jobs. For example- rose pruning gloves or anti shock gloves. However in the blog I’m going to be giving you recommendation for what we think are the best all purpose gardening gloves. Gloves that you can do jobs like weeding and planting with perfect dexterity.

Here are some thing you should look out for when choosing your gardening gloves.

Heavy Duty

Gardening is hard work and there are places on your gloves where your tools will regularly rub. You need a garden glove that is going to be able to stand up to that but is still flexible enough to let you do everything you need. It’s harder to find them than you think. There has been a number of time I’ve delved in to the bag of gloves trying to find a pair without holes and failed.

Heat Retention

Not a joke! I was in the unfortunate position of working in the snow (don’t do it, it’s not worth it!) this year and it was very painful on my hands! Putting snow madness aside, you have to remember that, as a gardener, you’re in the border, in soil all the time and if it’s cold your hands will quickly feel it! So getting a glove the keep the heat in is very important.

Grip

Grip is a bit of an obvious one. Something that is worth noting, however, is the tendency for the rubber grip to slip down and move the cheaper brands, which is really irritating.
